A collection of live recordings from the Tectonics Festival
A collection of recordings from Day 2 -- Magnús Blöndal Portrait at the Tectonics Festival.
Magnús was the pioneer in electronic music in Iceland in the 50's and 60's. All his major works were performed at the festival; electronic works, orchestral worls, solo-, chamber- and vocal pieces. More on Magnús Blöndal on the Tectonics website.
Amongst performers are the Iceland Symphony Orchestra, Herdís Anna Jónasdóttir sópransöngkona, Árni Heimir Ingólfsson piano, Áshildur Haraldsdóttir flute, Una Sveinbjarnardóttir violin and Tinna Þorsteinsdóttir piano.
