The Lord Of The Rings Symphony
Einn Hringur ræður þeim öllum, einn skal hann hina finna…
The Iceland Symphony Orchestra performs the music from Peter Jackson's trilogy. Composer Howard Shore scored the music for wich he won Academy awards in 2002 and 2004. A two-hour symphonic version of his music is now touring the world. This will be a magnificent event with soloists, four choirs and a number of rare instruments. Scenes from the films of Tolkien's tale will be projected on to a big screen. Swiss composer Ludwig Wicki has conducted this major event in London, New York and other cities.
