Gregory Aronovich

Russian born violist Gregory Aronovich lived and studied in Israel. Upon moving to Europe he took up positions with orchestras in Germany, Norway and Denmark, alongside guest work with the Mahler Chamber Orchestra. Since coming to London in 2012 to work with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, various chamber music projects have followed, including appearances with LPO Soloists in Wigmore Hall concert series as well as concerts, recordings and BBC Radio 3 live performances with Camerata Tchaikovsky. Gregory has also performed at chamber music festivals including Wimbledon, Stavanger and the Spring Festival in Malta. As a freelance session player, Gregory has recorded over 80 soundtracks for films and TV dramas, including The Hobbit, Iron Man 3, Poldark and Downton Abbey. Gregory joined the ISO in April 2019.
