Tom Yaron Meyerson

Born and raised in Tel Aviv, Israel, Tom began his trumpet studies at the age of six and later on switched to the tuba. Tom received his Bachelor's degree from the Buchmann Mehta School of Music at Tel Aviv University, studying with Micha Davis, Ariel Sasson and Nimrod Ron. Tom holds a Performance Diploma from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University where he studied with Daniel Perantoni and Paul Denson Pollard. In 2023, Tom graduated with a Master's degree from the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University under the tutelage of David Kirk. In his free time, Tom enjoys reading, cooking, and partaking in many different kinds of sports - he also happens to be a certified kayak instructor!
